PURSUANT to the Navy Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following promotions in the Royal New Zealand Navy:

Frederick Russell Chisholm, O.B.E., M.D. (MELB.), M.B., CH.B. (N.Z.), M.R.C.P. (LOND.), F.R.A.C.P., is granted an Honorary commission in the rank of Group Captain and is appointed Consultant in Medicine, with effect from 1 December 1961.

Squadron Leader Ronald George Trounce Lewis, M.B., CH.B. (N.Z.), Honorary commission—Consultant in Neuro Psychiatry, to be Group Captain, with effect from 1 December 1961.

The under-mentioned Wing Commanders of the Territorial Air Force are appointed Consultants in Surgery, with effect from 1 December 1961:

Termination of Commission

The Honorary commission of Wing Commander Archibald Keverall McIntyre, M.B., B.S. (SYDNEY), Consultant in Physiology, is terminated, with effect from 1 January 1962.
