PURSUANT to section 3 of the National Roads Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints the person for the time being holding the appointment in the Ministry of Works as the Director of Roading, to be a member of the National Roads Board.

Authorising the Laying Off of Streets off Te Ore Ore Road in the Borough of Masterton, Subject to Building-line Conditions

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 30th day of May 1962

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Masterton Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street first described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 50 ft, and of the proposed street secondly described in the said Schedule at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the conditions that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed street first described in the said Schedule, within a distance of 10 ft from the side lines of the said street, and on the land fronting the proposed street secondly described in the said Schedule, within a distance of 15 ft from the side lines thereof.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

THOSE proposed streets situated in the Borough of Masterton, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

Authorising the Laying Off of Martin Crescent (Extension) in the Borough of Northcote, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Northcote Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street extension described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 50 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 5388 referred to in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of 33 ft from the centre line of the said street.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

THAT proposed street in the Borough of Northcote containing by admeasurement 10·8 perches, more or less, being Lot 220, D.P. 45328, and part Lot 20, D.P. 36865, being part Allotment 44, Parish of Takapuna; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5388 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying off of the portion of proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 65 ft 4 in.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of proposed street situated in the City of Christchurch containing by admeasurement 37·1 perches, being part Lot 10, D.P. 13622, being part Rural Section 1160; and part Lot 23, D.P. 17258, being part Rural Section 1160; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5349 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the service lane described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland and be under the control and management of the Auckland City Council.
