Consenting to Stopping Road in Block IX, Hutt Survey District, Ashburton County

COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of May 1962 Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Ashburton County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Canterbury Land District ALL that piece of road containing 1 rood 32Β·4 perches situated in Block IX, Hutt Survey District, Canterbury R.D., adjoining or passing through Rural Sections 30183, 38583, and 38613; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5253 (S.O. 9919) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Portion of the Eastern Side of Ordsal Street North in the Borough of Gore, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of May 1962 Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Gore Borough Council on the 19th day of February 1962, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

The Gore Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Gore, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the eastern side of the portion of Ordsal Street North adjoining Section 1 and part Section 6, Block XXIV, Town of Gore, the said part Section 6 being more particularly shown as Lot 2 of D.P. 2214, being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 118, folio 215, Southland Land Registry.

SECOND SCHEDULE

The eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Borough of Gore, Southland Land District, known as Ordsal Street North, fronting Section 1 and part Section 6, being more particularly shown as Lot 2, D.P. 2214; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5234 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Directing the Sale of Land in Block VII, Uawa Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of May 1962 Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE

Gisborne Land District ALL that piece of land containing 10 acres 14 perches situated in Block VII, Uawa Survey District, Gisborne R.D., and being part Lot 5, D.P. 1451, being part Mangaheia 2D Block. All certificate of title, Volume 76, folio 138.

Revoking as to Part an Order in Council Declaring Land to be a Motorway in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of May 1962 Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 23rd day of June 1953 and published in Gazette, 25 June 1953, Vol. II, page 971, declaring land to be a motorway in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

North Auckland Land District ALL that piece of land containing 9Β·9 perches situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of Ellerslie, Auckland R.D., and being part Sections 111 and 112, Lawry Settlement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5244 (S.O. 43409) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Hanan Presiding in Council Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
