Declaring Land in Westland Land District, Vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Lot 1, D.P. 444, being part Rural Section 1583, situated in Block XVI, Greymouth Survey District; Area, 26·3 perches, more or less; all C.T. 24/129.

Declaring Land, Southland Land District, as a Wildlife Refuge in the Southland Acclimatisation District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area bounded as follows: Firstly, commencing at the westernmost corner of part Section 32, Block I, Longwood Survey District, and proceeding thence easterly generally along the generally northern boundaries of the said Section 32, to the north-western side of the Tuatapere Branch Railway; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of the said railway, and the north-western side of Kings Road to the north-eastern side of No. 99 State Highway; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of the said State highway to the point of commencement.
Secondly, commencing at the intersection of the north-western side of Kings Road and the south-eastern side of the Tuatapere Branch Railway, and proceeding north-easterly along the south-eastern side of the said railway to its intersection with the north-western side of a public road passing through part Section 31, Block I, Longwood Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line crossing the said public road to the northern boundary of the said part Section 31; thence north-easterly generally along the north-western boundary of the said part Section 31 and along the generally western boundaries of part Section 12, Block III, Longwood Survey District, to the south-eastern side of a public road passing through the said part Section 12; thence south-easterly generally along the south-eastern side of the said public road and along the generally south-western side of another public road intersecting the said part Section 12, to the westernmost corner of Section 11, Block III, aforesaid; thence south-westerly generally along the south-western boundary of the said Section 11, along the north-western and western boundaries of Section 8, Block III, aforesaid; the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 114, Block II, Longwood Survey District, and along the southern boundary of Section 93, Block II, aforesaid, to Kings Road; thence north-easterly generally along the north-eastern, south-eastern and again north-eastern sides of Kings Road to the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block I, aforesaid; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 2 to the southernmost corner thereof; thence south-westerly generally along the south-western, north-western, again south-western and again north-western sides of Kings Road to the point of commencement. As shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/520 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As shown in the plan marked I.A. 52/525 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

CANTERBURY Land District, Waimate County, Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 4145, being part Rural Sections 16683, 17793, and 32277 situated in Block VI and X, Waimate Survey District; Area, 237 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 293, folio 44. As shown on plan marked I.A. 52/506 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of May 1962

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become County road.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of road situated in Block I, Kaingaroa Survey District, commencing at the north-western corner of Section 45 of the aforesaid Block I, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of 930 links and terminating at the south-western corner of the aforesaid Block I.
Also all that portion of road situated in Block I, Kaingaroa Survey District, commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 31 of the aforesaid Block I, and proceeding thence in southerly and westerly directions generally for a distance of 230 links and terminating at the south-western corner of Section 53 of the aforesaid Block I.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5263 (S.O. 41126) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B and C–D respectively.
