OHURA TOWN COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Inviting Proposals for the Ohura Town District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Ohura Town Council
at its meeting held on the 9th day of May 1962 has resolved
to prepare for the Town District a district scheme as required
by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act
1953.
Every person concerned and every local authority in the
district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited
to submit full information as to the proposals (including public
works) which, in his or its opinion should be considered in
the preparation of the scheme.
Proposals marked “District Scheme” should be addressed
to the Town Clerk and posted to the Town Clerk’s office on
or before the 12th day of September 1962.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR WATER SUPPLY
CATCHMENT AND CONSERVATION PURPOSES
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga Borough Council
and Mount Maunganui Borough Council propose, under the
provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute certain
public works, namely, water supply catchment and conserva-
tion; and for the purpose of such public works the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and
notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
Town Clerk to the Tauranga Borough Council, Willow Street,
Tauranga, and in the public office of the County Clerk,
Tauranga County Council, Barkes Corner, Tauranga, and is
open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during office
hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land who have well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land must state their objections in writing
and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Tauranga
Borough Council, Willow Street, Tauranga.
SCHEDULE
594 acres 1 rood 14·5 perches situated in the Otanewainuku
Survey District, being known as Oropi No. 2 and numbered
4896E, and being the residue of the land in certificate of title,
Volume 24, folio 236 (South Auckland Registry).
Dated at Tauranga this 17th day of May 1962.
