Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee Election (Notice No. Ag. 7512)

PURSUANT to clause 11 of the Otago Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1950, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of two producers' representatives in the Northern Ward to the Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz., Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington; also at the offices of the Department of Agriculture at Timaru and Waimate and at the post office, Temuka.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of seven days from 16 May 1962, during which period any person may lodge with the Returning Officer an objection in writing under his hand to any entry on the roll.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Dunedin. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 13th day of June 1962.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of seven days from 16 May 1962, during which period any person may lodge with the Returning Officer an objection in writing under his hand to any entry on the roll.

Te Puke Rabbit District Divided Into Wards (Notice No. Ag. 7520)

PURSUANT to section 14A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Te Puke Rabbit Board hereby declares the Te Puke Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 16th day of June 1952,* to be divided into wards having the names and boundaries specified in the Schedule hereto.

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Tauranga County and Tauranga Borough, containing 77,075 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 18064 on the northern side of the Pokeno- Wellington via Gisborne State Highway in Block XV, Tauranga Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally along the boundary of the Te Puke Rabbit District as described in Gazette 1958, page 19, to the middle of the Mangorewa River, being a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 8, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District; thence westerly generally up the middle of the said river and the middle of the Ohaupara Stream, to and north-easterly along the south- eastern boundary of Taumata 2 Block, to and north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Taumata 2 Block, and Paengaaroa 1 Block, to and northerly generally down the middle of the Mangapapa Stream and the middle of the Wairoa River, to and easterly and then south- easterly generally along the shores of the Tauranga Harbour to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 25A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Te Puke Rabbit Board hereby declares that the number of members to be elected for each ward of the Te Puke Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 16th day of June 1952,* shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of the Ward.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Taranaki (Notice No. Ag. 7518)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Taranaki County Council on the 13th day of March 1962, is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, pursuant to the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Taranaki County Council hereby declares by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereto are noxious weeds within the Taranaki County.
