A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Maori housing purposes;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 21st day of May 1962.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Hamilton Survey
District, City of Hamilton, described as follows:

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 25th day of May
1961 and published in Gazette, 1 June 1961, Volume II, page
775, taking land, subject as to part to a building-line restriction,
for Maori housing purposes in Block II, Hamilton Survey
District, and hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to
Lots 12 and 15, D.P. S. 4672, to the building-line restriction
imposed by notice S. 110902, Auckland Land Registry, for
Maori housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 21st day of May 1962.

Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Maori housing
purposes, and the land now held for State housing purposes
described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart for
Maori housing purposes, and the land now held for Maori
housing purposes described in the Third Schedule hereto, is
hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st
day of May 1962.

Land Taken
ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 17·6 perches situated
in the City of Gisborne, Gisborne R.D., and being Sections
387, 388, 391, and 392, Gisborne Suburban; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 5050
(S.O. 5181) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
Land Set Apart for Maori Housing Purposes
ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods 28·4 perches situated
in the City of Gisborne, Gisborne R.D., and being Lots 3, 6,
14, and 43, L.T. Plan 4866, parts Taumata-o-ruku Nos. 1 and
2 Blocks, Block II, Turanganui Survey District.
THIRD SCHEDULE

Land Set Apart for State Housing Purposes
ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 17·6 perches situated
in the City of Gisborne, Gisborne R.D., and being Sections
387, 388, 391, and 392, Gisborne Suburban; as the same is more

described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the
Queen by Ralph Lionel Ziman and Myra Ziman under and
by virtue of deferred payment licence, Volume 956, folio 294
(Auckland Land Registry), is hereby taken for a university;
and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the 21st day of May 1962.

ALL that piece of land containing 22·04 perches situated in
