Declaration that Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Waitara Borough Council on the 17th day of May 1961:

“That, pursuant to section 13, subsection (1), of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Council hereby declares the land vested in the Council and described in the Schedules hereto to be a public reserve for the purpose of public recreation.”

Declaration that Part of the Albany Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Albany Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as reserves for municipal purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and, further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Hamilton City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

Reservation of Land and Declaration that Land be Part of the Albany Domain

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act to form part of the Albany Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
