Reserve Bank of New Zealand
PURSUANT to section 45 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1933 (as amended by section 23 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Act 1936), the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank, acting with the authority of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that, as from 30 March 1962, the balance to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by each other bank for the time being carrying on business in New Zealand in accordance with the said section 45 shall be such that, when added to that bank's holding of Reserve Bank notes, it shall be equal to not less than 15 per cent of its demand liabilities in New Zealand, plus 10 per cent of its time liabilities in New Zealand, as shown in the last preceding monthly return furnished by that bank in accordance with section 46 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1933.
Provided that the minimum balance to be maintained at the Reserve Bank shall not be less than 7 per cent of its demand liabilities in New Zealand, plus 3 per cent of its time liabilities in New Zealand.
For the purpose of this calculation a bank's holding of Reserve Bank notes shall be as shown in the latest available weekly return provided under the Statistics Act 1955.

THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- On and from the 1st day of April 1962 the areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the County of Cook and included in the City of Gisborne.
- The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said city hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
FIRST area, all that area in the Gisborne Land District, County of Cook, containing an area of 1 acre and 3 roods, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Lot 2, D.P. 4027, in Block III, Turanganui Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the City of Gisborne as described in Gazette, 1956, pages 409, 410, and proceeding in an easterly direction generally along the northern boundaries of the said Lot 2 and of part Lot 1 of Lot 49, D.P. 649, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1 of Lot 49 aforesaid and its production to the middle of Valley Lane; thence south-westerly along the middle of Valley Lane to a point in line with the north-eastern side of Waiteata Street; thence north-westerly to and along the said north-eastern side of Waiteata Street to the point of commencement.
Second area, all that area in the Gisborne Land District, County of Cook, containing an area of 30 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 10, D.P. 1812, in Block III, Turanganui Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the City of Gisborne as described in Gazette, 1956, pages 409, 410, and proceeding north-easterly along a right line being the production of the north-western boundary of said Lot 10 to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 239; thence southerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of said Lot 2 and its production to a point in line with the middle of Fox Street, along the middle of the said street to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 3032, to and along the north-eastern boundary of said Lot 2 to the western side of Hill Road, along the said western side to the northernmost corner of part Lot 35, D.P. 214; thence north-easterly along a right line across Hill Road to and
