Varying a Proclamation Declaring Crown Land to be Set Apart
for the Purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 2 of the Maori Housing Amendment Act 1938, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby vary a Proclamation dated the 31st day of August 1955 and published in Gazette of the 15th day of September 1955, Volume I, page 1421 (as amended by a Proclamation dated the 27th day of July 1956 and published in Gazette of the 2nd day of August 1956, Volume II, page 1025), by excluding therefrom the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of April 1962.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of April 1962.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for a public school, is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of April 1962.

ALL that piece of land containing 2·77 perches situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District, City of Palmerston North, Wellington R.D., and being part Lot 14, D.P. 534, being part Section 247, Town of Palmerston North; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 500 (S.O. 24683) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
