LYTTELTON HARBOUR BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Harbours Act 1950 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lyttelton Harbour Board proposes to take, under the provisions of the Harbours Act 1950 and the Public Works Act 1928 for the purposes of the carrying out of harbour extension works authorised by the Lyttelton Harbour Board Loan and Empowering Act 1955, all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Lyttelton containing four acres two roods seventeen perches (4 ac. 2 ro. 17 per.), more or less, being part of Lot 39 on Deposited Plan Number 9983, part of Reserve 68, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 452, folio 210 (Canterbury Land Registry), as shown coloured yellow on S.O. Plan Number 9948.

And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of such works or the taking of such lands set forth in writing such objection and send such writing within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of such notice, being the 17th day of March 1962, addressed to the Secretary-Manager, Lyttelton Harbour Board, Madras Street, Christchurch.

And notice is hereby further given that copies of the said plan showing the above-described land and the names of the owners and occupiers of such land so far as they can be ascertained, are deposited at the offices of the Lyttelton Harbour Board in Madras Street, Christchurch, and in Norwich Quay, Lyttelton, where the same are open for public inspection during office hours.

FRIENDLY SOCIETIES ACT 1909

ADVERTISEMENT OF CANCELLING

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 13th day of March 1962, cancelled the registry of Loyal Taneatua Lodge, No. 9707, of the Auckland District of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows (New Zealand) Friendly Society (Register No. 312–5 (84)) held at Taneatua, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

AUCKLAND METROPOLITAN DRAINAGE BOARD

SPECIAL ORDER

Loan No. 31, 1961, £65,000

THE Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960 and in pursuance of the authority conferred on it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to borrow the sum of £65,000 as a special loan to be known as Loan No. 31, 1961, £65,000, for the purpose of redeeming (with the relevant sinking funds of £7,500) at maturity portion of Loan No. 19, 1954, £2,700,000, 5th Issue totalling £72,500.

The foregoing special order was made by way of special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board and held on the 7th day of February 1962. It was publicly notified in the Auckland Star and the New Zealand Herald on 17 February and 3 March 1962. It was confirmed at a meeting of the Board, convened by resolution of the Board, on the 7th day of March 1962.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board was hereto affixed this 7th day of March 1962, in the presence of—

ADMINISTRATION ACT 1952

In the matter of the Administration Act 1952 and its amendments and in the matter of the estate of William George Chandler, late of Reefton, but now deceased.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of New Zealand on the 28th day of February 1962 filed a certificate in the Supreme Court at Greymouth electing to administer the abovementioned estate under Part IV of the Administration Act 1952, and that the said estate will, as from the said date, be administered, realised, and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy.

I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at the Public Trust Office, Greymouth, on the 13th day of March 1962, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

All creditors whether they have already submitted their names or not are required to prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act 1908. Proof of debt forms may be procured at my office.

HIKURANGI TOWN COUNCIL

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of the Hikurangi District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Hikurangi Town Council made on the 6th day of March 1962, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Town District of Hikurangi. The scheme has been deposited in the public office of the Council, Alfred Street, Hikurangi, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above place is open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged in the office of the Council at any time not later than the 29th day of June 1962. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of the objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Review of Tauranga County (Mount Maunganui) Operative District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the review of the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for Papamoa (west of Domain Road), Te Maunga, and Matapihi was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on 5 March 1962 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1962.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when those places are open to the public.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Dannevirke Borough Council made on the 26th day of February 1962, an amendment to the District Planning Scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of Dannevirke. The scheme amendment has been deposited in the office of the Council and in the Dannevirke Public Library in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
