NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS

Creditors' Voluntary Winding Up

Pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that a meeting of F. H. Stempa Builders Ltd. will be held on Thursday, the 29th day of March 1962, at which a resolution for voluntary winding up is to be proposed; and that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the Pioneer Sports Club Rooms, 188 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, on the 30th day of March 1962, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

Notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 7th day of March 1962, presented to the said Court by Motorways (Auckland) Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch, tyre repairer; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 30th day of March 1962, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

In the matter of Arch McNicol and Co. Ltd., a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1955, having its registered office at Auckland, and in the matter of sections 75–80 of the companies Act 1955.

Notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 13th day of February 1961 confirming that the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £14,000 divided into 14,000 ordinary shares of £1 each to £1,400 divided into 5,600 ordinary shares of 5s. each, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act were registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Auckland on the 1st day of March 1962.

AWATERE COUNTY COUNCIL

Resolution Making Special Rate

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Awatere County Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Awatere County Council Rural Housing Loan 1959 of five thousand pounds (£5000) authorised to be raised by the Awatere County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Awatere County Council makes a special rate of 0·05d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of the rateable property comprising the whole of the Awatere County; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Awatere County Council held on Thursday, the 8th day of March 1962, and that such resolution is a true copy of the resolution recorded in the minutes of the said meeting.

Resolution Making Special Rate

Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board Reticulation Extension Loan 1961, £200,000

Public notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board held on the 13th day of March 1962, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £200,000 (two hundred thousand pounds) authorised to be raised by the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District, and for such purposes to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the said Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one penny and point nought five of a penny (1·05d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
