KARORI
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the
intersection of the western shore of Port Nicholson with the
northern boundary of the Electoral District of Wellington
Central hereinafter described and proceeding generally westerly
and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of the
said Electoral District of Wellington Central, to and southerly
along the western boundary of the present Electoral District
of Island Bay, to and along the southern and western
boundaries of the present Electoral District of Karori, to
and generally easterly along the southern boundary of the
Electoral District of Porirua hereinbefore described, to and
southerly along the western shore of Port Nicholson to the
point of commencement.

WESTLAND
All that area comprising the Boroughs of Hokitika, Ross,
Kumara, Greymouth, Brunner, and Ruanga, and the Counties
of Murchison, Inangahua, Grey, and Westland.

BULLER
All that area comprising the Boroughs of Westport and
Motueka, the Counties of Golden Bay and Buller, that portion
of the County of Sounds not included in the Electoral District
of Marlborough hereinafter described, the Pelorus-Havelock
Riding of the County of Marlborough excepting that part
included in the Electoral District of Marlborough aforesaid,
and the County of Waimea excepting those parts included in
the Electoral District of Nelson hereinafter described.

WELLINGTON CENTRAL
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point
on the shore of Port Nicholson in line with the middle of
Westminster Street; thence westerly generally to and along
the middle of that street, across Hutt Road, to and along
the middle of Fore Street and Winchester Street and its
production, to and along the middle of Ngaio Gorge Road
East to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of
part Lot 3, plan A. 846; thence to and along that boundary
and its production, to and along the middle of Wellington-
Johnsonville railway, to and along the north-eastern boundary
of Lot 6, D.P. 3932, and Lot 258; D.P. 2644, to and along
the middle of the Kaiwharawhara Stream to a point in line
with the north-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 3932; thence
southerly generally to and along that boundary and the
western boundary of the said Lot 3 and its production, to
and along the middle of Oban Street and Buchanan Street to
a point in line with the middle of Moorhouse Street; thence
to and along the middle of that street, Lennel Road, Sefton
Street, and Wadestown Road to the northern boundary of
the Town Belt Reserve; thence south-westerly along a right
line to Upper Witako Trig. Station on Tinakore Hill; thence
westerly generally along a right line to the middle of the
eastern end of Huntingdon Street; thence along the middle of
Huntingdon Street, Pembroke Road, Cheshire Street, and
Worcester Street to its junction with Wilton Road; thence due
west to the middle of the Kaiwharawhara Stream; thence
southerly generally along the middle of that stream, to and
along the southern boundary of part Lot 31 on Plan A 2267;
to and along the middle of Curtis Street, Old Karori Road,
Chaytor Street, and Waiapu Road, to and along the eastern
boundary of the Wellington Water Supply Area, to and
along the western side of Highbury Road, to and again along
the eastern boundary of the said Wellington Water Supply
Area and the southern boundary of George Denton Park to
the western boundary of Section 11, Owhiro District; thence
northerly and easterly along the western and northern
boundaries of that section to the western boundary of
Section 3, Block XVA, Polhill Gully Maori Reserve; thence
northerly and easterly generally along the generally western
and northern boundaries of that section to and along the
middle of Durham Street and Durham Crescent to a point
in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9754; thence
to and along that boundary and its production to the middle
of Epuni Street; thence along the middle of Epuni Street,
Aro Street, Willis Street, Abel Smith Street, Cuba Street,
Arthur Street, and Taranaki Street to Hankey Street, being a
point on the present boundary of the Electoral District of
Wellington Central; thence along that boundary to the middle
of Alexandra Road; thence north-easterly generally along the
middle of that road, Thane Road, Roseneath Terrace, Palliser
Road, Grafton Road, and Maida Vale Road to a point in
line with the southern boundaries of Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 4203;
thence to and along those boundaries, to and across Evans
Bay Road to the shore of Port Nicholson at Little Karaka
Bay; thence northerly, westerly, and northerly again generally
along the shore of Port Nicholson to the point of commence-
ment, and including Somes Island and all wharves and other
extensions seaward.

NELSON
All that area comprising the City of Nelson, the Borough
of Richmond, the Waimea East Riding of the County of
Waimea, excepting that portion generally east and south
of a line commencing on the southern boundary of the Waimea
East Riding at the confluence of the Lee and Roding Rivers
and proceeding northerly up the middle of the Roding River,
to a point due east of a road junction in Section 1, Block X,
Waimea Survey District, to that junction and along the middle
of the road to the north of that river, to a point in line
with the eastern boundary of Section 8, Square 1, to and
along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of the
western parts of Lot 5 and Lot 2, D.P. 332, along the
south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of the south-
western part of Section 62, Block X, Waimea Survey District,
north-westerly along the middle of Whites Road, north-easterly
along the middle of Salisbury Road, to and easterly generally
along the boundary of the Borough of Richmond, south-
easterly along the south-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P.
2035, north-easterly along the north-western boundary of
Section 1, Block VII, Waimea Survey District, to the northern
corner of that section, easterly to a point in the middle of
a road passing through Section 60, Square 1, in line with
the north-eastern boundary of that section, along the middle
of that road passing through Section 61, Square 1, and Section
5, Block VII aforesaid, to and up the middle of the Roding
River to the eastern boundary of the Waimea East Riding
aforesaid, that portion of the Whangamoa Riding of the
County of Waimea, west of a line commencing at a point
on the eastern boundary of the City of Nelson, being the
eastern corner of Section 36, Block I, Maungatapu Survey
District, and proceeding northerly along a right line to
the eastern corner of part Section 8, Block IX, Wakapuaka
Survey District, south-easterly along a prominent spur to the
crest of the main ridge, northerly along that ridge to Trig.
Station Wells Hill, north-westerly along the leading ridge
to the eastern corner of Section 16, Block IX, Wakapuaka
Survey District, along the north-eastern boundary of Section
16 and that boundary produced to the seaward boundary of
the County of Waimea, and that part of the Appleby Riding
of the County of Waimea generally east of a line commencing
on the boundary of the Appleby Riding at the southern
end of Waimea West Road and proceeding north-easterly
along the middle of that road, north-westerly along the middle
of the road on the north-eastern boundary of Section 121,
Block V, Waimea Survey District, north-easterly along the
middle of Golden Hills Road and No. 60 Provincial State
Highway, north-westerly along the Appleby-Motueka via
Tasman road, and north-easterly along Redwoods Road to
its northern end and generally north-westerly over the Waimea
Tidal Flats to the boundary of Appleby Riding.

ISLAND BAY
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the inter-
section of the western boundary of the present Electoral
District of Island Bay with the sea coast and proceeding
northerly along the said western boundary, to and generally
easterly along the southern boundary of the Electoral District
of Wellington Central hereinbefore described, to and southerly
along the middle of Alexandra Road and Crawford Road, to
and generally southerly and westerly along the eastern
and southern boundaries of the present Electoral District of
Island Bay to the point of commencement, and including all
adjacent islands.

MIRAMAR
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the inter-
section of the middle of Alexandra Road and the Mount
Victoria Traffic Tunnel in the City of Wellington and pro-
ceeding northerly along the eastern boundary of the Electoral
District of Wellington Central hereinbefore described to the
shore of Evans Bay; thence southerly, easterly, and northerly
along the shore of the said Evans Bay to Point Halswell;
thence southerly and westerly generally along the shore of
Port Nicholson and the sea coast to the eastern boundary of
the Electoral District of Island Bay hereinbefore described;
thence northerly along that boundary to the point of com-
mencement, and including all wharves and other extensions
seaward.

MARLBOROUGH
All that area comprising the Boroughs of Picton and
Blenheim, the Counties of Awatere, Kaikoura, Amuri, and
Cheviot, the Wairau, Omaka, and Spring Creek-Picton
Ridings, and that part of the Pelorus-Havelock Riding
of the County of Marlborough, south-east of a line
commencing at the junction of the Waikakaho Road and a
road leading westerly through part Section 2 of 10, Block I,
Cloudy Bay Survey District; thence westerly along that road
to and southerly along the eastern boundary of Section 13,
Block I, and south-westerly along the south-eastern bound-
aries of Section 10 and Section 3, Block V, Cloudy Bay
Survey District, to Trig. Station N; thence south-westerly along
a right line to Trig Station Ref. Geo. in Block VIII, Onama-
lutu Survey District, and that line produced south-westerly
to the boundary of the Pelorus-Havelock Riding aforesaid;
also that portion of the County of Sounds generally south and
east of the southern and eastern boundaries of the Kenepuru
Road District from the south-eastern boundary of Section 2,
Block VII, Linkwater Survey District, to the north-eastern
corner of Lot 1, D.P. 866, in Block VII, Gore Survey District;
thence northerly along the western side of a public road to a
point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 49E 1,
Big Bay Maori Block; thence south-easterly to and along
that boundary to the shore of Big Bay; thence generally
along the middle of Big Bay and Endeavour Inlet and north-
easterly along Queen Charlotte Sound between Long Island
and Motuara Island to the seaward boundary of the County
of Sounds.

RANGIORA
All that area comprising the Boroughs of Rangiora and
Kaiapoi, the Counties of Rangiora, Ashley, Eyre, Oxford,
Kowai, and Waipara; and that part of the County of Waimairi
not included in the Electoral Districts of Fendalton and
Riccarton hereinafter described.
