Notice of Voluntary Winding Up
Pursuant to the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that by duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company made on the 26th day of February 1962 the following special resolution was passed by the company, namely:
“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”
That Mr A. H. Dukeson, of Rotorua, public accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company and distributing the assets.

The liquidator of the company above named, which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 31st day of March 1962 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.
The liquidator's address, to which notice of all claims should be sent, is 67 Hinemoa Street, Rotorua (P.O. Box 5098, Rotorua).

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Crematorium Loan 1961, £16,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £16,000 authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of meeting the additional costs of the construction at the Hamilton Park Cemetery and Garden of Memories of the crematorium and sexton's residence, including the necessary equipment and furnishings, the construction and laying of access roads and vehicular parking areas, and of kerbing and channelling, the provision of an adequate water supply and drainage system, the installation of underground cables for power and telephone services, the resiting and renovation of the existing dwelling, the laying out of the grounds, the charges for labour, cartage, materials, plant, and tools, the preparation and advertising of the plans, and supervision for architects fees, legal costs, and other charges and the costs of raising the loan, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of thirty-eight thousandths of a penny (.038d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value, unimproved, of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Hamilton City Council at a duly constituted meeting held on 14 February 1962.

MANAWATU CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Lower Manawatu Scheme Classified Special Area
Resolved: “That, pursuant to section 47 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and sections 90 and 102 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £100,000, being the fourth issue of the Lower Manawatu Scheme Loan 1954 (£350,000), authorised to be raised by the Manawatu Catchment Board for the carrying out of the works of the Lower Manawatu Scheme, the Manawatu Catchment Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of
·4742 pence in the pound on Class A land,
·3161 pence in the pound on Class B land,
·1581 pence in the pound on Class C land,
·0791 pence in the pound on Class D land,
·0316 pence in the pound on Class E land, and
·0119 pence in the pound on Class F land
on the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the Lower Manawatu Scheme Area in accordance with the classification list of the area; and such rate shall be adjusted as required by section 4B of the Valuation Equalisation Act 1957 and shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan or until the loan is fully paid off, and shall be payable in one sum on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan.”
The above resolution was passed by the Manawatu Catchment Board at its meeting held on 20 February 1962.
