Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Onehunga Borough Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Onehunga, in trust, for that purpose.

Lot 47, D.P. 38572, being part Allotment 13, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District: Area, 31·05 perches, more or less.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Kaikoura County Council

Pursuant to the Land Subdivision in Counties Act 1946, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is set aside as a reserve for recreation purposes subject to the Reserves and Domain Act 1953 and, further, pursuant to the last-mentioned Act, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kaikoura, in trust, for that purpose.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Otautau Town Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Citizens of the Town District of Otautau and revokes the reservation for a public pound over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revoking Foreshore Licence in Lake Te Anau

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine, with the consent of the licensee, hereby gives notice that the licence granted on the 29th day of September 1960 to Orbell Holdings Ltd. to use and occupy parts of the bed of the lake at Te Anau, Lake Te Anau, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10867 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, as sites for boat hauling-out areas, is hereby revoked.

Declaring Areas Exempted From Portions of the Motor Launch Regulations 1958

Pursuant to the Motor Launch Regulations 1958, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that for two years from the date hereof, subject to compliance with the conditions set out in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 9 and 10 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1958 shall not apply to the areas firstly, secondly, and thirdly described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
Firstly, all the waters of Lake Te Anau at Bluegum Point within 200 yd of the shore bounded by lines whose shore ends are 100 yd apart, the eastern boundary commencing 1 chain westward of the western side of the boat harbour entrance and extending in a 194° 20' true direction and the north-western boundary extending in a 252° 30' true direction.
Secondly, all the waters of Lake Te Anau at Brod's Bay within 200 yd of the shore bounded by parallel lines 150 yd apart extending in a 46° true direction, the eastern boundary commencing where the western bank of Ernie's Creek touches the shore.
Thirdly, all the waters of Lake Te Anau at Dock Bay within 200 yd of the shore bounded by parallel lines extending in a 165° true direction, the eastern boundary commencing at a point on the lakeshore in line with the remains of the old jetty.

SECOND SCHEDULE
Each of the boundaries outlined in the First Schedule shall be marked as follows:
(a) A brightly painted marker buoy shall be moored at a distance of 50 yd from the edge of the water.
(b) At the edge of the lake at normal lake level there shall be placed a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted white with black letters, and shall contain the following notice:

"NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1958
Access lane extends 200 yards into lake through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour.
Bathers Keep Out."

Time and Place of Election by Fire Insurance Companies to Fill Vacancies on the Fire Board for the Tauranga United Urban Fire District

Pursuant to the provisions of the Fire Services Act 1949, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints 12 noon on Thursday, 8 March 1962, as the time, and the offices of the Auckland Fire and Accident Underwriters' Association, Victoria Arcade, Shortland Street, Auckland, as the place, for the holding of a meeting of representatives of the insurance companies carrying on business in New Zealand to elect three members to the Fire Board for the Tauranga United Urban Fire District.
