Scheme of Control of the Wellsford Post-Primary School
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby approves of the Wellsford Post-primary School being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961 published in the Gazette of 8 June 1961, Volume II, page 820:
Provided that clause 10 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the following proviso were added thereto:
“Provided that the first such election of members to the Board shall be held as soon as convenient but not later than the first week of the month of May 1962.”

Scheme of Control of Tokoroa High School
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Tokoroa High School published in the Gazette of 6 September 1956, Volume III, page 1227; and approves of Tokoroa High School being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961:
Provided that the standard scheme shall be read as if the clause set out in the Schedule hereto were inserted after clause 12.
SCHEDULE
CLAUSE TO BE READ AS PART OF STANDARD SCHEME
“12A. (1) In every case where any member is to be elected by the members of the school committees of the public schools to which paragraph (e) of clause 2 of the Tokoroa High School Board of Governors Order 1956 applies, every such member shall be so elected by postal ballot in a manner approved by the Director of Education.
“(2) Such an election shall be held not later than the first week of the month of May 1964 and in every third year thereafter or as soon thereafter as may be convenient on a date to be fixed by the Tokoroa High School Board of Governors. For the purpose of such election and all subsequent elections the Secretary of the Board of Governors shall be the returning officer.”

Scheme of Control of Tawa College
PURSUANT to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Tawa College published in the Gazette on 7 July 1960, Volume II, page 891; and approves of Tawa College being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961:*
Provided that:
(a) The Standard Scheme shall be read as if the clause numbered 12A, set out in the Schedule hereto, were inserted after clause 12:
(b) Clause 18 of the Standard Scheme shall be read as if the following proviso were added thereto:
“Provided that every member in office at the commencement of this scheme shall hold office until the 31st day of May in the year 1963, whether or not that year is the third year after the year of his appointment or election.”
SCHEDULE
NEW CLAUSE FOR THE STANDARD SCHEME
12A. (1) In every case where any member is to be elected by the members of the school committees of the public schools to which paragraph (e) of clause 2 of the Tawa College Board of Governors Order 1960 applies, every such member shall be so elected by postal ballot in a manner determined by the Board of the school.
(2) Such an election shall be held in the first week of the month of May in the year 1963 and in every third year thereafter, or as soon thereafter as may be convenient on a date to be specified by the Board. For the purpose of such elections, the Secretary of the Board of Governors shall be the returning officer.
