HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewer Reticulation Loan 1960, £55,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Henderson Borough Council held on the 11th day of December 1961:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £55,000 authorised to be raised by the Henderson Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing sewer reticulation of part of the Borough, the said Henderson Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven seven pence (0·77d.) in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Henderson; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that such special rate is hereby permanently appropriated and pledged as security for the said loan of £55,000.”

GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1961

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Geraldine County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Geraldine County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances for the erection of dwellings in the County of Geraldine for farmers and farm workers the said Geraldine County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ·027d. in the (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property of the County of Geraldine; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,000 authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the provision of sewer reticulation for the whole Borough except that area served by the business area drainage loans, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of point four five pence in the pound (·45d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special rating area comprising the whole of the Borough except the rateable property in that area served by the business area drainage loans; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BOROUGH OF NEWMARKET

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Newmarket Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £27,256 authorised to be raised by the Newmarket Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting pensioners’ flats, the said Newmarket Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal point three five pence (1·35d.) in the pound upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Newmarket; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Upper Hutt District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has consented to an application by Arthur Oliver Avis to a specific departure from the provisions of the Upper Hutt Operative District Scheme, by permitting in a subdivisional plan an access strip of a length greater than the 255 ft maximum provided for by clause 18 (1) of the above scheme and which subdivision is of land covered by part Lot 2, D.P. 11366, and part Lot 3, D.P. 22395, situated in Chatsworth Road.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Hearing of Objections to the Dannevirke County District Scheme

THE Dannevirke County Council hereby gives notice that the hearing of objections to the district scheme will commence at the Council Chambers, Denmark Street, Dannevirke, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon on Tuesday, the 13th day of March 1962, and will continue as there arranged from time to time and place to place until all objections and witnesses have been heard.

All persons who wish to be heard in support of or opposition to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly at least three days before that date.

The following is a summary of the subject matters of objections received by the Council.

The Minister of Works objects to the location of the proposed road off Laws Road and located between the railway and the Industrial D zone.
