Defining the Limits of the Nelson Harbour Pilotage District
COBHAM, Governor-General
Pursuant to section 211 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define the limits of the Nelson Harbour Pilotage District, within which pilots may act for the purposes of the said Act, to be all the tidal waters comprised within Nelson Haven together with all the tidal waters of Tasman Bay, having as their outward seaward limit the arc of a circle running from the landward boundary of the foreshore of the mainland south-westward of the Boulder Bank lighthouse and thence into Tasman Bay, and thence to the landward boundary of the foreshore of the Boulder Bank, such arc being the arc of a circle of three nautical miles radius having as its centre the Boulder Bank lighthouse structure sited approximately at 41° 15' 23" S., 173° 15' 54" E.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 31st day of January 1962.

Defining the Limits of the Greymouth Harbour Pilotage District
COBHAM, Governor-General
Pursuant to section 211 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define the limits of the Greymouth Harbour Pilotage District, within which pilots may act for the purposes of the said Act, to be all the waters comprised within the harbour of Greymouth having as their inward limit the bridge which crosses the Grey River from Mawhera Quay in Greymouth to Bright Street in Cobden, and having as their outward seaward limit a line commencing at high-water mark at the signal station flagstaff sited approximately at 46° 26' 33" S., 171° 11' 28" E., and proceeding in a 250° direction until it meets the arc of a circle of two nautical miles radius having as its centre the signal station flagstaff, thence proceeding generally northerly and easterly along the said arc to a point due north of the signal station flagstaff, and thence proceeding in a 180° direction to high-water mark on the mainland.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 31st day of January 1962.
