Revocation of Approval to Issue Warrants of Fitness

Pursuant to subclause (3) of regulation 52 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the approval of the firm described in the Schedule hereto to issue warrants of fitness for motor vehicles:

Closely Populated Localities Declared

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 6th day of March 1961,* which relates to the Otara and Gordon Blocks in Manukau County is hereby revoked.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

That the Warrants under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* dated the 19th day of September 1957† and the 8th day of January 1958‡, which relate to Glenfield Road (formerly known as the Birkenhead-Maungaturoto State Highway No. 5) in Waitemata County are hereby revoked.

  2. The road sections specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

Workers' Compensation Act 1956—Offices of the Compensation Court

Pursuant to rule 3 of the Workers' Compensation Rules 1959 the Minister of Labour hereby directs that, as from the 1st day of February 1962, in addition to the offices notified in the Gazette of 10 November 1960, at page 1775, there shall be an office of the Compensation Court at Wanganui.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, Subject as to Parts to Certain Rights
