Authorised Insurers Under Part III of the Workers'
Compensation Act 1956

PURSUANT to section 101 of the Workers' Compensation Act
1956, I hereby notify that in addition to the State Fire
Insurance General Manager, constituted under the State Fire
Insurance Act 1908, and the insurance companies named in
the notice dated the 10th day of August 1960, and published
in the Gazette of 18 August 1960, at page 1242, the following
insurance companies, within the meaning of the said Act,
are authorised insurers under Part 3 of the Workers' Com-
pensation Act 1956.

Transport Industry Insurance Co. Ltd.
And that the following insurance company ceased on 31 March
1961 to be an authorised insurer.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regu-
lations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes
the Warrant, dated the 30th day of April 1951†, classifying
roads in the Borough of Raetihi and hereby approves the
Raetihi Borough Council's proposed classification of the said

Classification of Roads in Uawa County

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regu-
lations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes
the Warrant, dated the 18th day of October 1961†, which
relates to the roads described in the Schedule hereto and, in
accordance with a decision of the National Roads Board,
hereby declares that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto shall be classified as set out in the said Schedule.

Notice to Make Payment of Income Tax Under the Land and
Income Tax Act 1954

PURSUANT to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Com-
missioner of Inland Revenue hereby gives notice as follows:
Income tax payable for the year of assessment, which com-
menced on the 1st day of April 1961, on income derived
(or deemed to have been derived) during the income year
which commenced on the 1st day of April 1960 by:
(1) Every subsisting company* otherwise than as trustee
or agent;
(2) Every public authority otherwise than as trustee or agent;
(3) Every Maori authority;
shall be due and payable in one sum on the 7th day of
February 1962 at any office of the Taxes Division, Inland
Revenue Department, or at any money-order post office.

*“Subsisting company” means a company which was incor-
porated before the 26th day of July 1957; but does not include
a company which by virtue of an election under section 42
of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1957 has become a pro-
