Scheme of Control of Otaki College
Pursuant to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the
Minister of Education hereby approves of Otaki College
being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme
of Control for Secondary Schools 1961 published in the
Gazette of 8 June 1961, Volume II, page 820:
Provided that:
(a) Clause 10 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read
as if the following proviso were added thereto:
"Provided that the first such election of members
to the Board shall be held as soon as convenient,
but not later than the third week of the month of
December in the year 1961."
(b) Clause 18 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read
as if the following proviso were added thereto:
"Provided that every member appointed or elected
for the first term of office of the Board shall hold
office until the 31st day of May in the year 1965,
whether or not that year is the third year after the
year of his appointment or election."

County of Golden Bay Declared to be an Area in Which
Owners of Cattle Shall Submit Their Cattle for Testing
With the Tuberculin Test (Notice No. Ag 7457)
Pursuant to section 7 (6) of the Stock Amendment Act 1958,
the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares the County of
Golden Bay, for the time being constituted and including
all town districts surrounded by or contiguous to the county,
to be an area in which every owner of cattle shall, as often
as and in such manner as he may be required so to do by
the Director-General of Agriculture, submit his cattle for
testing with the tuberculin test for the purposes of the said
section.

Counties Declared to be Areas in Which Owners of Cattle
Shall Submit Their Cattle for Testing With the Tuberculin
Test (Notice No. Ag. 7458).
Pursuant to section 7 (6) of the Stock Amendment Act
1958, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares all that
area of land comprising the counties listed in the Schedule
hereto, for the time being constituted and including all cities,
boroughs, and town districts surrounded by or contiguous
to these counties, to be areas in which each owner of cattle
shall, as often as and in such manner as he may be required
so to do by the Director-General of Agriculture, submit his
cattle for testing with the tuberculin test for the purposes of
the said section.

Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Tauranga-Taupo Development
Scheme)
Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on the date of
the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described

visions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said

The Standards Act 1941—Draft New Zealand Standard
Specification No. D 6776 Couplings, Branch Pipes, Nozzles,
Strainers, and Accessories for Fire-fighting Purposes
Pursuant to subsection (3) of the Standards Act 1941, notice
is hereby given that the above draft New Zealand standard
specification is being circulated.
All persons who may be affected by this specification and
