Defining the Middle Line of the Onehunga-Manurewa via Mangere Motorway in Blocks V, IX, X, and XI, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in Blocks V, IX, X, and XI, Otahuhu Survey District, viz, the Onehunga-Manurewa via Mangere Motorway, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 3719 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

Altering the Boundaries of the Grey Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Grey Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

All that area in the Westland Land District, Grey County, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of part Rural Section 856 (D.P. 936) situated in Block XI, Te Kinga Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Grey Electric Power District as described in Gazette, 1959, page 517, and proceeding south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Blocks IX, X, XV, and XVI, Kopara Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Blocks XVI and XII, Kopara Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Blocks V, VI, VII, and VIII, Haupiri Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Blocks VIII and IV, Haupiri Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Blocks IV, III, and II, Haupiri Survey District, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned block; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Blocks XIII, IX, V, and I, Pohaturoa Survey District, to the middle of the Grey River being a point on the boundary of the Grey Electric Power District as described in Gazette, 1959, page 517; thence westerly and southerly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement. As the said area is shown outlined in mauve on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 582 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Altering the Boundaries of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District

Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District by including therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

All that area in the Gisborne Land District and being part of the Opotiki County bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast of the Bay of Plenty being the north-western-most corner of Lot 1, D.P. 6827 (AK.), in Block 1, Waiaua Survey District, and being also a point on the boundary of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District as described in Gazette, 1959, page 342, and proceeding north-easterly generally along the sea coast to the northernmost corner of Orua-iti 1B in Block II, Whangaparaoa Survey District; thence easterly generally along the north-eastern boundary of the said Oruaiti 1B and its production to and across the Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa State Highway No. 35 and again along the said north-eastern boundary of Oruaiti 1B to and along the northern boundary of Section 1, D.P. 10599 (AK.), and its production to and across the Mangapouri Stream to the right bank of that stream, along the right bank of the said Mangapouri Stream to the eastern boundary of the said Section 1, D.P. 10599 (AK.); thence southerly generally along the eastern boundaries of the said Section 1, D.P. 10599 (AK.), and Sections 2, D.P. 10599 (AK.), 3 and 4 D.P. 10600 (AK.), and the production of the eastern boundary of the said Section 4 to the middle of the Waikura River, along the middle of the Waikura River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9472 (AK.), to and along that boundary and the north-eastern boundary of part Te Kumi No. 1 to Pakira Trig Station; thence south-westerly generally along right lines to Honokawa, Kapua, and Arowhana Trig. Stations, and again along a right line through Trig. Station 139, Tuanui-o-te-Kahakaha, in Block X, Arowhana Survey District, to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Waipaoa 1E; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of the said Waipaoa 1E and the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 2, D.P. 2394, 3, D.P. 2395, 6 and 7 D.P. 2479, and 8 D.P. 2480, to its intersection with the right bank of the Motu River in Block IX, Maungawaru Survey District; thence southerly generally along the said right bank of the Motu River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 2, Block VI, Otipi Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along a right line across the Motu River and a road reserve to and along the said northern boundary of Section 2, Block VI, Otipi Survey District, along the northern and western boundaries of Section 1, Block V, Otipi Survey District, to the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District, along that boundary to and along the southern boundary of a public road to the south-western corner of Section 5, Block VIII, Urutawa Survey District, across a public road to and along the north-western boundary of Section 2, Block II, Urutawa East Survey District, to the eastern side of the Opotiki-Matawai via Motu road and along the said eastern side of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section
