Declaring Land to be Crown Land

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.


SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 60 acres and 2 perches, more or less, being the land known as part Section 3, situated in Block I, Cambridge Survey District, with appurtenant thereto the right of way created by Consolidation Order 10751. (S.O. Plan 40536.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of December 1961.

Additional Land Near Tokirima Taken for the Purposes of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Stratford Main Trunk Railway.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:

A. R. P. Being
0 1 38·4 Part Section 7, Block II, Heao Survey District. Situated in Taumarunui County. (S.O. 9225.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17168 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of December 1961.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 1·57 Part street.

Situated in Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District, City of Napier. (S.O. 2625.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 11920 and deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of November 1961.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Manurewa to the Purposes of a Street

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street and that the said street shall be under the control of the Manurewa Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

0 1 0·1 Part railway land in Proclamation 3606.

Situated in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of Manurewa. (S.O. 43107.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17686 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of December 1961.
