NOTICE is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in the minute books of the above-named company on the 20th day of November 1961, the following special resolution was passed by the company, namely:

“It was unanimously resolved, by way of a special resolution, that the company be wound up voluntarily and that D.T. Barnett be appointed liquidator of the company.”

Notice of Final Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Rawson-Davis (Proprietories) Ltd. (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of the above- named company will be held at the offices of Kirk, Barclay, and Co., Fifth Floor, Smith and Caughey Buildings, Wellesley Street, Auckland C. 1, on Wednesday, the 13th day of December 1961, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution, namely:

“That the liquidator be empowered to supervise the destruction of the books and papers of the company.”

Every member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote instead of him. A proxy need not also be a member.

Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged with the undersigned at the offices of Kirk, Barclay, and Co., Fifth Floor, Smith and Caughey Buildings, Wellesley Street, Auckland C. 1, not later than 4 p.m. on the 12th day of December 1961.

Notice of Final Meeting

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1955 and in the matter of Rawson-Davis (Proprietories) Ltd. (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 291 of the Companies Act 1955, that a meeting of creditors of the above-named company will be held at the Chamber of Commerce Building, Courthouse Lane, Auckland C. 1, on Wednesday, the 13th day of December 1961, at 3 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:

To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution, namely:

“That the liquidator be empowered to supervise the destruction of the books and papers of the company.” (S. 328.)

Notice of Voluntary Winding-up Resolution

PURSUANT to section 269 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the company duly convened and held on the 3rd day of November 1961, the following special resolution was duly passed:

“That Mr J. K. Burtt be appointed as liquidator.”

Notice to Creditors to Prove

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Russell and Co. Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation). The liquidator of Russell and Co. Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily (by the creditors), doth hereby fix the 4th day of December 1961 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-mentioned society by the Magistrates Court was, on the 10th day of November 1961, presented to the said Court by J. Rattray and Son Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office in Dunedin and carrying on business there and elsewhere as general merchants; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Dunedin on the 19th day of December 1961 at 11 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said society desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned or any creditor or contributory of the said society requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Alfred Davies and Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at N.I.M.U. Building, O’Connell Street, Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on Monday the 13th day of November 1961, presented to the said Court by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., a company incorporated in Great Britain having its head office and principal place of business in New Zealand at Featherston Street, Wellington, and carrying on business in New Zealand and elsewhere as stock and station agents; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 15th day of December 1961 at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
