A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First, Second, and Third Schedules hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waimairi as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of November 1961.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3 acres 2 roods 23·7 perches situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and being part Lot 3, D.P. 20449, being part Rural Section 12; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4236 (S.O. 9821) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
