Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Melling to the Purposes of a Street

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Lower Hutt City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

1 1 28Β·1 Part railway land in Proclamations 325, 4500, and 18875, being part Lot 1, Melling Settlement (part Section 75, Hutt District), and portions of Section 75, Hutt District.

Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District, City of Lower Hutt. (S.O. 24847.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17212 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of November 1961.

Public Reserve Taken for the Development of Water Power (Halfway Bush Substation) in the City of Dunedin

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Halfway Bush substation).

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the Wakari Survey District, City of Dunedin, Otago R.D., described as follows:

10 3 32 Part Lots 23 and 24, D.P. 265, being part Sections 9 and 10; coloured yellow on plan M.O.W. 2274. (S.O. 12924.)

0 0 32 Part Lot 23, L.T. Plan 265, being part Section 9; edged red on plan P.W.D. 87586.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Block XII, Wakamarina Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of November 1961.


SCHEDULE

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 35 perches situated in Block XII, Wakamarina Survey District, Marlborough R.D., being Section 99, Town of Havelock; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4121 (S.O. 4535) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of November 1961.
