Eastern Bay of Plenty Catchment Area
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 (as enacted by section 5 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1959), the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council hereby assigns the name of the “Eastern Bay of Plenty Catchment Area” to the catchment territory described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts, Counties of Whakatane, Opotiki, Wairoa, Taupo, and Rotorua, Town District of Murupara, and Boroughs of Whakatane and Kawerau commencing at the north-eastern corner of Waewaehikitia 1 on the shore of the Bay of Plenty in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along the sea coast of the Bay of Plenty to the eastern extremity of the Ohope Land Spit, being a point on the western shores of the entrance to Ohiwa Harbour in Block VII, Whakatane Survey District; thence due south along a right line for a distance of 500 links and due south-west along a right line to its intersection with the production easterly of another right line between the southernmost extremity of Lot 1, D.P.S. 497, in Block VI, Whakatane Survey District (Ohakana Island) and a point 100 links due north of the northern extremity of Allotment 284, Waimana Parish (Uretara Island); thence westerly generally along the last-mentioned right line to the southernmost extremity of Lot 1, D.P.S. 497, aforesaid and along another right line to a point 1000 links distant from and due west of the northern extremity of Allotment 127, Waimana Parish (Whitiwhiti Point); thence along another right line to a point being the intersection of the line of mean high water along the shores of the Ohiwa Harbour aforesaid with the northern boundary of that part Lot 2, D.P. 12843, bounded on the south-west by Wainui Road and along that northern boundary and that boundary produced across Wainui Road to its western side; thence southerly generally along the western and south-western sides of that road to and along the western side of State Highway No. 2 and Bell Road to the south-eastern corner of Allotment 223, Waimana Parish, shown on D.P. 4734 in Block IV, Waimana Survey District; thence easterly and again southerly generally along a right line across the said Bell Road to and along the southern boundaries of Allotments 268 and 269, Waiotahi Parish, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned allotment; thence along a right line across a public road to and along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of part Section 6 and the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, both sections of Block IV, Waimana Survey District, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Waimana Ic Ib, Ic Ic 2, Ic Ic 3, Ic Ic 4A, Ic Ic 4B 3, Id 2b Ib, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 16028, Part Waimana Id 2d 2, and Id 3, Lot 1, D.P. 15760, in Block VIII, Waimana Survey District, to and southerly along the eastern watershed of the Whakatane River and south-westerly generally along the generally south-eastern watersheds of the Whakatane and Rangitaiki Rivers to and northerly generally along the generally western watershed of the Rangitaiki and Tarawera Rivers to its intersection in Block XI, Rotoma Survey District, with the eastern boundary of Rotoma 2; thence northerly along that eastern boundary to its north-eastern corner, along a right line crossing Blocks XI, VII, and III, Rotoma Survey District, and Block XI, Waihi South Survey District, to and along the eastern boundaries of Section 6, Block VI, Waihi South Survey District, Tahunaroa 3A, part Lot 10 and Lots 11, part 13, 14, and 15, D.P. 8636, Lots 6, 4, and part 2, D.P. 35929, along a right line across State Highway No. 2 to and along the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 8636, along another right line across a public road to and along Waewaehikitia 3, 2A, 2B, Urupa, along a right line across the East Coast Main Trunk Railway to and along the eastern boundary of Waiwaehikitia 1 to the point of commencement.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3799 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Western Bay of Plenty Catchment Area
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 (as enacted by section 5 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1959), the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council hereby assigns the name of the “Western Bay of Plenty Catchment Area” to the catchment territory described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Counties of Tauranga, Matamata, and Rotorua, Boroughs of Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, Te Puke, and Rotorua, commencing at the south-eastern corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 28882, on the shores of the Bay of Plenty in Block I, Katikati North Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along the shore of the Bay of Plenty to the north-eastern corner of Waewaehikitia 1 in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that subdivision, a right line across the East Coast Main Trunk Railway to and along the eastern boundaries of Waewaehikitia-Urupa 2B, 2A, and 3, across a public road to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 8636, to and across State Highway No. 2, to and along the eastern boundaries of part Lot 2, Lots 4 and 6, D.P. 35929, Lots 15, 14, part 13, 11, and part Lot 10, D.P. 8636, Tahunaroa 3A, Section 6, Block VI, Waihi South Survey District, a right line crossing Block XI, Waihi South Survey District, and Blocks III, VII, and XI, Rotorua Survey District, to and along the eastern boundary of Rotorua 2 to its intersection with the generally western watershed of the Tarawera River; thence south-westerly along that watershed to and north-westerly generally along the north-eastern watersheds of the Waikato and Waihou Rivers to and northerly along the eastern side of South Road, the generally north-western boundaries of Section 6, Block XIV, Rotorua Survey District, the western boundary of part Okoheriki 2B, along a right line across the Auckland-Rotorua Railway and a public road to and along the south-western boundary of part Section 3, Block XIV, Rotorua Survey District, to and still northerly along the eastern side of Maraeroa Road and that eastern roadside produced across State Highway No. 5 to and north-westerly generally along the north-eastern side of that highway to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Block X, Patetere North-east Survey District; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Block IV, Patetere North-east Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of that block to the intersection of the last-named boundary with a right line joining the westernmost corner of Section 46, Selwyn Settlement, with Trig. Station 910 (Te Kauranga) in Block II, Tapapa East Survey District; thence northerly generally along the aforesaid right line to and along the south-eastern boundary of Whaiti-Kuranui 5c 2, to and northerly along the eastern boundaries of Blocks IV and II, Tapapa East Survey District, to the intersection of the last-mentioned block boundary with the north-eastern boundary of the said 5c 2; thence along a right line to the aforesaid Trig. Station 910 and along another right line to Trig. Station 146 (Te Weraiti) on the eastern boundary of Block VIII, Tapapa Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Lot 5, D.P. 5099, in Block XI, Aongatete Survey District; thence along the eastern boundaries of Lots 5, 3 and Lot 1, D.P. 5156, and the northern boundary of the last-mentioned lot to and along the eastern boundaries of Blocks XI, IV, VII, and III, Wairere Survey District, to the northernmost corner of Lot 5, D.P. 25781, in the last-named block; thence again northerly through the State forests in Block X, Aongatete Survey District, and Block VII, Katikati Survey District, along the eastern boundary of the original Aroha Block as shown on Maori Land Plan 3062 to a point in line with the northern boundary of Block XII, Aroha Survey District; thence due east to and northerly generally along the eastern boundaries of Blocks VII and III and the north-western boundary of Block IV, Katikati Survey District, to and along the south-western boundaries of Section 1, Block XII, Katikati Survey District, and Section 36, Block IV, Katikati Survey District, to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 34, Block IV aforesaid, the southern boundary of Section 26, Block IV aforesaid, a right line across a public road to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Section 27 of the said Block IV and the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XII, Katikati Survey District, to and along the southern boundaries of part Section 50, Block IV, Aroha Survey District, to and north-westerly along the south-western side of State Highway No. 2 to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 28257; thence north-easterly generally along a right line across the aforesaid State Highway No. 2, to and along the aforementioned south-eastern boundary and along a right line across the East Coast Main Trunk Railway to and along the generally south-eastern boundaries of Lots 2, 5, and 4, D.P. 28257, and part Section 5, Block I, Katikati North Survey District, to and along the southern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 28882, to the point of commencement.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3799 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.

Fibreboard, flock coated, for use as lining material for footwear
under item 269 (1) (a) of the Customs Tariff has been declined.
