Extending a 30 Mile Per Hour Speed Limit

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That so much of the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 10th day of September 1951,* as relates to the portion of road in Pukekohe Borough described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  2. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Pukekohe Borough:
No. 22 State Highway (Runciman-Tuakau), formerly known as the Drury-Waiuku-Kohekohe Main Highway No. 873 (from Seddon Street to the nothern boundary of Pukekohe Borough).

SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Pukekohe Borough:
No. 22 State Highway (Runciman-Tuakau) (from Kayes Road to the northern boundary of Pukekohe Borough).

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Rotorua and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land Together with and Subject to Certain Grants

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be Crown land together with and subject as to the land described in the First Schedule to mutual grants of party wall rights as described in transfers 198083 and 327161, Auckland Registry, subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 16th day of October 1961.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Railway Land Being
All that parcel of land containing 2 roods 9.4 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Rotorua, being sections 14 and 15, and part section 19, of Block XXXV of the town of Rotorua, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 733, folio 221, Auckland Registry, together with and subject to a mutual grant of party wall rights over part of Section 15, and over part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 726, folio 58, Auckland Registry, as described in transfer 198083, and together with and subject to similar rights over parts of Sections 15 and 19, and over part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 726, folio 264, as contained in transfer 327161.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Approximate area of the piece of land declared Crown land:
A. R. P. Railway land being
0 0 6.86 All the land in Proclamation 12833, being part Section 6, Block XXXV, Town of Rotorua.

Situated in Block I, Tarawera Survey District, Borough of Rotorua. (S.O. 34430.)

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10080 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 16th day of October 1961.
