Approval of Testing Officer Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing officer under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Limited Speed Zone Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the roads specified in the Schedule hereunto are hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

Limited Speed Zones Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

That the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 5th day of March 1958,* and the Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956†, dated the 26th day of April 1960†, which relate to roads in Ngaruawahia Borough are hereby revoked.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.‡

SITUATED within Ngaruawahia Borough:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from Belt Street to the south-eastern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough).
Havelock Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to Cavan Street).
Huntly West Road (from the north-western boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 16 chains measured south-easterly and southerly generally along the said road from the said boundary).
Ngaruawahia - Glen Massey road (from the south-western boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 10 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary).
Old Taupiri Road (from the northern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 24 chains measured southerly and south-easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary).
River Road (from the south-eastern boundary of Ngaruawahia Borough to a point 24 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said road from the said boundary).
