Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the licences in respect of parts of the foreshore of Queen Charlotte Sound particulars of which licences are set forth in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 15th day of October 1952, and published in the Gazette on the 16th day of the same month at page 1708, authorising George Hamilton Verity, of Tirau, farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use certain electric lines.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 October 1961.

SCHEDULE
Boroughs: Lyttelton, Northcote, Pahiatua, Pukekohe, Riccarton, Waitara.
City: Auckland.
Counties: Akaroa, Ashley, Eltham, Eyre, Mount Herbert, Oxford, Patea, Peninsula, Thames, Waipawa.
Town District: Kaponga.

Pursuant to the discretion conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 9, Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General intends to exercise the authority conferred by the foregoing Order in Council so far as it relates to Auckland City by revising only those properties on the district valuation roll which lie within the Grey Lynn portion.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares the Lillburn Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 21st day of October 1949(1), the Wairaki Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 26th day of October 1949(2), the Orawia Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 17th day of May 1950(3), the Scott's Gap - Otatau Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 20th day of November 1940(4), the Waimatuku Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 17th day of August 1938(5), the Pourakino Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of December 1940(6), and the Orepuki Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of May 1939(7), to be united and to form one district having the name of the Western Southland Rabbit District, the boundaries of which shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE WESTERN SOUTHLAND RABBIT DISTRICT
All that area in the Southland Land District containing by estimation 967,000 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams and bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the sea coast and the left bank of Big River, being a point on the boundary of the Fiordland National Park as described in the Fifth Schedule to the National Parks Act 1952 and amended by Gazette, 1956, p. 1607; thence proceeding north-easterly generally along the Fiordland National Park boundary to the northern boundary of Block VIII, Monowai Survey District; thence westerly generally along the northern boundary of the said Block VIII to the eastern shore of Lake Monowai; thence north-westerly generally along the said eastern shore, across the mouth of the Monowai River and along the northern shore of Lake Monowai to a point in line with the north-western side of Lake Road; thence north-easterly to and along the said north-western side and along the western boundary of Run 463 to Trig. Station D, Block VI, Monowai Survey District, being a point on the boundary of Fiordland National Park as described in the Fifth Schedule to the National Parks Act 1952; thence north-easterly along the boundary of Fiordland National Park to a point in line with the right bank of Redcliff Creek at its confluence with the Waiau River; thence easterly by a right line to and along the right bank of the Redcliff Creek to the south-eastern boundary of Run 415 A 1; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said Run 415 A 1 to the south-eastern corner thereof;
