A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Gordon Leslie MacCarthy under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 2038 is hereby taken for a quarry; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of October 1961.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 7 acres and 14·2 perches situated in Block I, Mangamuka Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 49, D.P. 7196, being part Te Karae No. 2 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3574 (S.O. 42927) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of September 1961.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Hawke's Bay Catchment Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of October 1961.
