Vesting a Reserve in the Benmore Rabbit Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby vests the reserve described in the Schedule hereto in the Benmore Rabbit Board, in trust, for rabbit board buildings.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Omarama Rabbit Board of Part of a Reserve

Licensing Llewellyn Hickey to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Wakapatu as a Site for a Slipway

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Llewellyn Hickey, of Invercargill (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Wakapatu, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11039 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a slipway thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable five pounds (£5).

3. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of September 1961.

Pursuant to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Dargaville High School published in the Gazette on 16 December 1954, Volume III, page 2036; and approves of Dargaville High School being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.*

Pursuant to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of the school formerly known as Onehunga Post-primary School and now known as Onehunga High School published in the Gazette on 25 September 1958, Volume III, page 1289; and approves of Onehunga High School being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.*

Pursuant to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the scheme of control of Tauranga College published in the Gazette on 23 July 1953, Volume II, page 1189; and approves of all schools for the time being under the control of the Tauranga College Board being controlled in accordance with the Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.*

Provided that clause 18 of the said standard scheme shall be read as if the following proviso were added thereto:

“Provided that every member in office at the commencement of this scheme shall hold office until the 31st day of May in the year 1962, whether or not that year is the third year after the year of his appointment or election.”
