Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes Near Stratford
to the Purposes of a Street

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Stratford Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

All being portions of railway land in Gazette, 1901, page 2150.
Situated in the Borough of Stratford. (P.W.D. Plan 19602.1)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17499 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway housing; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of September 1961.

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 2 roods 19·9 perches situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of One Tree Hill, Auckland R.D., and being Lots 3, 8, and 9, D.P. 48225. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 425, folio 293, Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of August 1961.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a roadman’s cottage; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of September 1961.

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 acre and 16 perches situated in Block II, Tokaanu Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Opawa Rangitoto No. 1 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3616 (S.O. 40296) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

ALL that piece of land containing 20·1 perches situated in Block X, Waiau Survey District, Southland R.D., being part Section 66, Merrivale Settlement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3597 (S.O. 6879) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
