Notice Relating to the Use of Oestrogens (Notice No. Ag. 7379)

OESTROGENS

PURSUANT to clause 3 (2) of the Stock (Insecticides and Oestrogens) Regulations 1961 (S/R 1961 No. 101), the Minister of Agriculture hereby gives notice that the use of oestrogens for therapeutic purposes by veterinary surgeons or veterinary practitioners registered under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1956 is permitted, but no oestrogens shall be used by implantation or otherwise with the intention of altering the rate of growth or development of any stock.
