TAKAPUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna Borough Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Water Reticulation Loan 1954, £140,000 (£10,000 portion), authorised to be raised by the Takapuna Borough Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of water reticulation works in Ward A of the Borough of Takapuna, the Takapuna Borough Council makes a special rate of ·035d. (decimal nought three five pence) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in Ward A of the Borough of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council held on the 22nd day of August 1961.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Kaurilands Domain Hall Improvement Loan 1961, £2,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £2,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the construction of kitchen, conveniences, and committee room at Kaurilands Hall, together with all costs incidental thereto, the Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·04d. in the pound (£) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property situated within the Titirangi County Town; and further resolves that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and repayable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on the 21st day of August 1961.

MURUPARA TOWN DISTRICT COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Staff Housing Loan 1961, £4,000
That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Murupara Town District Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Staff Housing Loan 1961 of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Murupara Town District Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of erecting a staff dwelling, the said Murupara Town District Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nine five of one penny (·095d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Town District of Murupara; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 8th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Public notice is also hereby given that, at a meeting of the Murupara Town District Council held on the 29th day of August 1961, the above-mentioned resolution was passed.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Widening and Purchase of Property Loan 1961, £90,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of ninety thousand pounds (£90,000) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of purchasing properties for the site of the proposed administration centre and for the extension of Station Street and widening of Dalton Street and the acquisition of properties relative thereto, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal three two two (·322) of a penny (d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 15th day of August in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £100,000, to be known as the Maitai Water Supply Loan (No. 3) 1961, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a water-supply scheme from the Maitai Valley and expenditure incidental thereto, the said Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirty-seven sixty fourths of a penny (³⁷/₆₄d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Nelson, comprising the whole of the said city; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 23rd day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council Chamber, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 31st day of August 1961.

MARLBOROUGH CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wairau Valley Scheme Housing Loan 1960, £14,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers in that behalf enabling, the Marlborough Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fourteen thousand pounds (£14,000), known as the Wairau Valley Scheme Housing Loan 1960, authorised to be raised by the Marlborough Catchment Board under the abovementioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing land and constructing four staff houses near Wairau Valley Township, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate, as set out in the Schedule hereto, on the rateable capital value of all rateable property liable to be rated for such rate in that part of the Marlborough Catchment District defined in the classification list for the Wairau Valley Scheme Rating District deposited at the offices of the said Board, the said rate being on a graduated scale according to the classification made by the said Board of lands in the said part of the catchment district; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan or part thereof is fully paid off.”
