Notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 28th day of July 1961, presented to the said Court by Arthur Walter Christmas, of Auckland, public accountant, receiver of the company; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 29th day of September at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

SELF-SERVICE LAUNDRETTE CO. LTD.
In the matter of he Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Self-Service Laundrette Co. Ltd.
Notice is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 16th day of August 1961, confirming the reduction of the share capital of the above-named company from £7,000 to £1,050 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 1st day of September 1961. The said minute is in the words and figures following:
"The amount of share capital of Self-Service Laundrette Co. Ltd., as altered by the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, confirming the reduction of the share capital of the company is £1,050 divided into 7,000 shares of 3s. each, and at the date of the registration of this minute the amount of 3s. is deemed to be paid up on each share."
Dated this 1st day of September 1961.

TAKAPUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna Borough Council resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Footpaths Loan (Ward A) 1961, £40,000, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna Borough Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing concrete footpaths in Ward A of the Borough of Takapuna, the Takapuna Borough Council makes a special rate of 0·134d. (decimal one three four of one penny) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in Ward A of the Borough of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council held on the 22nd day of August 1961.

TAKAPUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna Borough Council resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Sewerage Loan (Ward B No. 2) 1961, £97,000 (£50,000 portion), authorised to be raised by the Takapuna Borough Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of completing the sewerage reticulation in Ward B of the Borough of Takapuna, the Takapuna Borough Council makes a special rate of 2·28d. (two decimal two eight pence) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in Ward B of the Borough of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council held on the 22nd day of August 1961.
