BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Bay of Islands County District Scheme—Moerewa Section Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the Moerewa section of the Bay of Islands County District Scheme was approved by the Council, by resolution passed at its meeting on the 16th day of August 1961, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.

The Council also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 16th day of November 1961.

Copies of the approved scheme have been deposited in the Council’s office and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when the office is open to the public.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Bay of Islands County District Scheme—Russell Section

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Bay of Islands County Council made on the 11th day of November 1959, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Russell Town District. The scheme has been deposited in the office of the Russell Town Council, Russell, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the office is open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or any part thereof shall be in writing in Form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be lodged at the office of the Bay of Islands County Council, Kawakawa, at any time not later than the 7th day of December 1961.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at a hearing of objections if he notifies the Council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

BOROUGH OF ONE TREE HILL DISTRICT SCHEME

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Proposed Changes to Operative District Scheme

PUBLIC notification is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the One Tree Hill Borough Council made on the 20th day of September 1960, changes in the Borough’s Operative District Scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The changes relate to the Operative District Scheme for the Borough of One Tree Hill and details of the proposed changes have been deposited in the District Land Registrar’s Office, Auckland, and the One Tree Hill Borough Council Office, in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and are there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes in the said Operative District Scheme or to any part of such proposed changes must be in writing in form F prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 or to the like effect, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 30th day of November 1961.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

CITY OF NEW PLYMOUTH AND COUNTY OF TARANAKI COMBINED AREA DISTRICT PLANNING SCHEME

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to regulation 32 (8) of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that by a decision dated the 7th day of August 1961 the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board unconditionally consented to the application of the Taranaki Harbour Board for a departure, under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, from the above district scheme.

The substance and effect of the consent is to:

(a) Rezone 12¾ acres of land on the western side of Paritutu Road Industrial D instead of Industrial B;

(b) Rezone 5¾ acres of land fronting Eden Street Industrial B instead of Residential and Commercial A;

(c) Rezone 2¾ acres of land on the eastern side of Paritutu Road Industrial B instead of Industrial A;

(d) Rezone ½ acre of land on the south-western corner of the intersection of Eden Street and Paritutu Road Commercial A instead of Residential.

NOTE—The full description of the said lands are shown in the said application which, together with the plan mentioned therein, may be inspected, without fee, at any time during office hours at the Town Clerk’s Office, Liardet Street, New Plymouth.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

In the matter of a private Bill intituled “An Act to extend the powers of the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees, constituted under the provisions of the Presbyterian Church Property Act 1885, to lease land.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees, a body corporate constituted under the Presbyterian Church Property Act 1885 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Trustees”), intends to apply to the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled for leave to bring in the above-mentioned Bill, the short title of which is the Presbyterian Church Property Amendment Act 1961.

The objects of the Bill are to remove the limitations as to the term for which any lease of lands described in the aforementioned Act may be granted by the said Trustees thereunder to the intent that the said Trustees be empowered to lease any such lands for any term they may approve.

The promoter of the Bill is the said the Presbyterian Church Property Trustees whose address for service of notices and communications is at the offices of its duly appointed solicitors, Messrs Macalister, Mazengarb, Parkin, and Rose, 21 Brandon Street, Wellington, where a copy of the Bill may be inspected.

Printed copies of the Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill Office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, on or before the 4th day of September 1961.
