Stamp Duties Act 1954—Mode of Stamping by Inland Revenue Department
WHEREAS the Associate Minister of Finance directed on 12 August 1954, and it was notified in the Gazette of 19 August 1954 at page 1339, that every instrument stamped by the Inland Revenue Department with impressed stamps, in accordance with that notice, should also be impressed with the official seal:
And whereas it has been decided to discontinue the use of the official seal for such purposes:
Now, therefore, it is directed, and notice is hereby given, that on and from 4 September 1961 instruments stamped by the Inland Revenue Department with impressed stamps shall no longer require to be impressed also with the official seal.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve to Recreation Purposes and Addition of the Reserve to the Kaikoura Domain
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for scenic purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes, and further declares the said reserve to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Kaikoura Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
