PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the East Coast Bays Borough Council, pursuant to powers delegated to it by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board in terms of section 35 (6) (b) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, resolved at its meeting, held on the 2nd day of August 1961, that the property described in the Schedule hereto and zoned industrial “A” be rezoned industrial “C”.

ALL that piece of land owned by Ronald Edgar situated at 621 Beach Road, Brown’s Bay, containing 1 rood 03·6 perches, more or less, and being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 42336 of Allotment 189, Takapuna Parish, Block IV, Waitemata Survey District, and being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 1130, folio 96, Auckland Registry.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
In the matter of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives relating to private Bills and in the matter of a private Bill intituled “An Act to transfer the rights vested in Matea Forests Ltd. (in liquidation) by virtue of the Whakatane Paper Mills Ltd. Water Supply Empowering Act 1936, to Whakatane Board Mills Ltd.”
NOTICE is hereby given that Whakatane Board Mills Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at No. 41 Shortland Street, Auckland, intends to apply to the House of Representatives for leave to introduce in Parliament during its present session a private Bill having as its object the transfer of the rights vested in Matea Forests Ltd. (in liquidation) (formerly the Whakatane Paper Mills Ltd.) by virtue of the Whakatane Paper Mills Water Supply Empowering Act 1936, to the said Whakatane Board Mills Ltd. Such rights include the right to take water from the Whakatane River and to convey it to the paper-board mill at Whakatane, owned by the promoting company, by means of pipes and other appliances to be laid in and across the said river, public drains, tidal lands, tidal waters, and public roads, subject to all conditions, provisions, and restrictions under which Matea Forests Ltd. (in liquidation) holds such rights. The name of the promoter of the Bill is Whakatane Board Mills Ltd.; its address to which communications or notice may be sent is Private Bag, Whakatane. A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the office of the said Whakatane Board Mills Ltd., Piripai, Whakatane.

Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance. Single copies available as issued.
The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon. The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
