Cancellation of the Vesting in the Manukau County Council
and Change of Purpose of Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Manukau and changes
the purpose of that part of the reserve described in the
Schedule hereto from a reserve for recreation and water purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes.

Licensing I. O. and T. N. Gibbs to Use and Occupy Parts of
the Bed of Lake Taupo as Sites for Breakwaters

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Ian Ogilvie Gibbs and Theodore Nesbit Gibbs (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy parts of the bed of Lake Taupo, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11045 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining breakwaters thereon, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The premium payable by the licensees shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).
3. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of August 1961.

Declaring Areas Exempted from Portions of the Motor Launch
Regulations 1958

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1958, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that for two years from the date hereof, subject to compliance with the conditions set out in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 9 and 10 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1958 shall not apply to the areas firstly and secondly described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all the waters of the Oreti River between the following boundaries:
(a) Southward of a line drawn in an east-west direction running from the western boundary to the eastern boundary of the river in line with the south side of the Dunns Road river bridge;
(b) Northward of a line drawn in an east-west direction running from the western boundary to the eastern boundary of the river in transit with the southern boundary of Crawford Road, Otatara.
