NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a scenic reserve; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Taupo and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Declaration That Part of a Public Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve, Change of the Purpose of the Reserve, and Vesting in the Taupo Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the public domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for a site for a pound, and vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Taupo, in trust, for that purpose.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that those parts of the Stoke Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be recreation reserves subject to Part II of the said Act and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserves.
