A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day of August 1961

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Otahuhu Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14 of a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 2966 referred to in the Schedule hereto within a distance of 15 ft from the side line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

THAT proposed street in the Borough of Otahuhu containing by admeasurement 1 rood 9 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 39576, being part Allotment 37, Small Farms near Otahuhu, and part Allotment 36, Small Farms near Otahuhu.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2966 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
