A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 15 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation ground and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waimairi as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of August 1961.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 3 roods 23·1 perches situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Section 38, Wharenui Hamlet; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2010.
