TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Departure from Operative District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments
and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated the 27th day
of July 1960, gave consent to a specified departure from the
operative district scheme of the Borough of Mount Albert to
the extent indicated hereunder, namely:

By rezoning from “Residential” to “Industrial B.1.” the land
situated in Asquith Avenue and Linwood Avenue in the
Borough of Mount Albert being all that parcel of land containing 8 acres 0 roods 39·1 perches, more or less, being part Lot 233 on D.P. 20722 and Lot 2 on D.P. 33558 and being part of Allotment 172 of Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland,
and being all the land comprised and described in certificate
of title, volume 1325, folio 51, North Auckland Registry.

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN PLANNING—REZONING

NOTICE is hereby given that the Taupo Borough Council, pursuant to powers delegated to it by the Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board, has exercised this delegated authority
in respect of an application by John Lockwood Wheeler for
consent to a specific departure from the provisions of the
Taupo Borough Council’s operative district scheme, by rezoning
from rural to residential, the land described in the Schedule hereto.

A copy of the amended operative district scheme is available
for public inspection at Municipal Offices or Public Library, Story Place, Taupo, during normal office or library hours.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 23 acres 2 roods 25·5
perches, being part Lot 1, Deposited Plan 23410, and being
part Section 12, Block II, Tauhara Survey District, and all the
land in certificate of title, Volume 901, folio 43, Auckland
Registry.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

VARIATION OF PART OF PALMERSTON NORTH DISTRICT SCHEME

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the resolutions
of the Council made on the 26th day of September 1960, 24th
day of January 1961, and the 27th day of February 1961,
part of the Takaro, Main, and Featherston Streets, and
Hokowhitu areas of Palmerston North District Scheme as
already operative, is to be amended and the Council has
recommended for approval these variations under the Town
and Country Planning Act 1953.

A plan of variations to the district scheme as recommended
by the Council has been deposited at:

The Municipal Library, Fitzherbert Avenue.
The Roslyn Library, Andrew Avenue.
The Hokowhitu Library, Ascot Street.
The Takaro Library, Botanical Road.
The Municipal Chambers, The Square.

This plan is open for inspection by all persons interested
therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are
open to the public.

Objections to the recommended variations of the district
scheme shown hereon may be made by way of written notice
in form E prescribed on the First Schedule to the Town and
Country Regulations 1960 or to the like effect, marked
“Objections to District Scheme” and lodged at the office of the
Council at any time not later than Monday, 23 October 1961.

At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any
objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a
period of which public notice will be given.

35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and
1939-42 are out of print.)
