BOROUGH OF QUEENSTOWN
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Camping Ground (Camp Store) Loan 1960, £1,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that
behalf enabling it, the Queenstown Borough Council hereby
resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of £1,500 known as the Camping
Ground (Camp Store) Loan 1960, £1,500, for the purpose of
constructing a new store in the Queenstown Municipal Camping
Ground, the Queenstown Borough Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of decimal nought eight four five
eight (0.08458d.) of a penny in the pound on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property in the Borough of Queenstown; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of such loan
being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
Given under the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the Borough of Queenstown this 24th day of
November, 1960.

IN THE MATTER OF THE CEMETERIES ACT 1908
NOTICE is hereby given by the undersigned persons, being not
less than 25 adult members of the religious denomination
known as the Roman Catholic Church, acting under section 59
of the above-entitled Act and with the sanction of the Minister
of Health, that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
dedicated and open as a burial ground to be used only for
the burial of the members of the said denomination.
Dated this 14th day of June 1961.

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Waipawa
County, containing 1 acre, more or less, being part Otawhao
A 9 No. 2B Block, bounded by a line commencing at a point
on the south-western boundary of Section 26, Block VI, Taka-
pau Survey District, 39.5 links from its south-western boundary
corner as defined on S.O. Plan 3380; thence south-easterly
along that south-western boundary for a distance of 300 links;
thence south-westerly at right angles to the south-western
boundary of Section 26 aforesaid for a distance of 334 links;
thence north-westerly parallel to the south-western boundary
of Section 26 aforesaid for a distance of 300 links; thence
north-easterly at right angles to the last-mentioned line to
the point of commencement. As shown on the plan marked
"A" deposited in the Head Office, Department of Health at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

AUCKLAND METROPOLITAN DRAINAGE BOARD
SPECIAL ORDER
Loan No. 30, 1961, £2,600,000: First Issue, £800,000
THE Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in exercise of the
powers vested in it by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act
1960, and in pursuance of the authority conferred on it under
the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and
in exercise in all other powers enabling it in that behalf,
doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate
as a special order to borrow the sum of £800,000 (eight hun-
dred thousand pounds), being portion of a loan of £2,600,000
known as Loan No. 30, 1961, for the purpose of meeting costs
and expenses and carrying out works incidental to the con-
struction of the Manukau Drainage Scheme.
The foregoing special order was made by way of a special
resolution passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Metro-
politan Drainage Board and held on the 7th day of June 1961.
It was publicly notified in the Auckland Star on the 17th day
of June and the 1st day of July 1961. It was confirmed at a
meeting of the Board convened by resolution of the Board on
the 5th day of July 1961.
The common seal of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage
Board was hereto affixed this 5th day of July 1961 in the
presence of—

ONEHUNGA BOROUGH COUNCIL
SPECIAL ORDER CONSOLIDATING SPECIAL RATES
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by
section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as
enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amend-
ment Act 1959 and all other powers enabling it in that behalf,
the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves, by way of
special order, that, instead of levying the special rates specified
in the Schedule hereto, a uniform consolidated special rate of
thirteen-sixteenths of a penny (13/16d.) in the pound (£) on
all rateable property within the Borough of Onehunga be and
the same is hereby made an annually recurring rate for the
purpose of paying the annual charges plus 10 per cent thereof
payable in respect of the loans secured by those special rates;
and the Onehunga Borough Council hereby further resolves
that the consolidated special rate shall be payable in one sum
on the 1st day of August in each year to the Borough
Treasurer at the Onehunga Borough Council offices, Queen
Street, Onehunga, or to such other person or at such other
place for the time being authorised by the Council.

NOTICE OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the
Papakura Borough, except that area served by the Business
Area Drainage Loans, taken on 8 July 1961, on the proposal
of the above-named local authority, to raise a loan of £280,000
to be known as the Sewer Drainage Reticulation Loan 1960
for the purpose of providing sewer reticulation for the whole
borough, except that area served by the Business Area Drain-
age Loans, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ...... 693
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 153
The number of informal votes was ...... 3
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
