Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at East Town

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of July 1961.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
8 3 34·84 Part land in D.P. 3973, being part Sections 91 and 92, Left Bank Wanganui River.
0 0 14·1 Part land in D.P. 3973, being part Section 91, Left Bank Wanganui River.

Formerly portions of certificate of title, Volume 745, folio 97, Wellington Registry.

Situated in Block I, Ikitara Survey District. (S.O. 24726.)

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17055 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of July 1961.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street at Woburn

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street and that the said street shall be under the control of the Lower Hutt City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land:

A. R. P. Railway land being
0 1 20·79 Part Lot 2, D.P. 11875, being part Lots 3 and 4, Section 11, Hutt District; coloured orange.
0 0 8·13 Part Wellington-Napier Railway; coloured blue.

Situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, City of Lower Hutt. (S.O. 24841.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 17078 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in the Borough of Taumarunui

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of July 1961.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land containing together 1 rood 8·3 perches situated in Block I, Piopiotea Survey District, Borough of Taumarunui, being Lots 1 and 2 on a plan lodged for deposit in the Land Transfer Office at Auckland as No. S. 7035, being part Allotments 8 and 9, Block XVII, Taumarunui Maori Township. Part certificates of title, Volume 914, folio 229, and Volume 833, folio 155, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of July 1961.
