Foreshore Licence at Mercer, Waikato River, Amended

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 26 November 1959, published in the Gazette of 3 December 1959, page 1790, licensing the Roose Shipping Co. Ltd., of Mercer, to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Mercer, Waikato River, as a site for a wharf and shed, by inserting after the figures “4795” the words and figures “and M.D. 8827”.

Foreshore Licence in the Puhoi River Amended

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 26 May 1960, published in the Gazette of 2 June 1960, page 734, vesting the management of a shingle landing in the Puhoi River in Selwyn Hills, by inserting after the words “shingle landing” wherever they occur the words “and boatshed”, and by inserting after the figures “9622” the words and figures “and M. D. 11025”.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed in Waikato County (Notice No. Ag. 7316)

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said section, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Waikato County Council on the 27th day of June 1961.

SPECIAL ORDER

IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, that Barley Grass (Hordeum murinum), being a plant mentioned in the First Schedule of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, be declared a noxious weed within the County of Waikato.

Administration of the Noxious Weeds Act in County of Heathcote (Notice No. Ag. 7314)

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said section, hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the Heathcote County Council on the 22nd day of June 1961.

RESOLUTION

THAT the Council assume responsibility for the administration of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 within the boundaries of the County of Heathcote with effect from the 1st day of August 1961.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 14 days from 26 July 1961.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Private Bag, Auckland C. 1. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 16th day of August 1961 and must be accompanied by a deposit of £3.
