HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as amended by section 2 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the closing of the portion of street known as Rangaroa Road in the Borough of Taumarunui, described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT ALL that piece of street containing 6·2 perches situated in the Borough of Taumarunui, Auckland R.D., adjoining part Lot 2, D.P. 9124, and Lot 1, D.P. 915 Amending the Constitution of the Waikato Valley Authority COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 28th day of June 1961 Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Waikato Valley Authority Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes provision for one member to be elected to the Waikato Valley Authority to represent the combined district comprising so much of the Counties of Rotorua and Taupo as lies within the Waikato Valley.

ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY Territorial Force 3rd Field Regiment, RNZA Captain D. C. T. Bush, M.B., CH.B., RNZAMC., relinquishes the appointment of RMO and resigns his commission. Dated 18 April 1961.
4th Medium Regiment, RNZA Captain R. Kidd to be temp. Major. Dated 1 April 1961.
THE CORPS OF ROYAL N.Z. ENGINEERS Regular Force Major Cedric Geoffrey Hunt, A.M.I.C.E., A.M.N.Z.I.E., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, The Corps of Royal N.Z. Engineers, in the rank of Major. Dated 7 June 1961.
