Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Wellington-
Foxton Motorway in Block I, Waiopehu Survey District,
and Block XIII, Mount Robinson Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1947, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the middle line of a motorway desired to be constructed in
Block I, Waiopehu Survey District, and Block XIII, Mount
Robinson Survey District (viz, a portion of the Wellington-
Foxton Motorway), shall be that defined and set forth in the
Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall affect only that land situated within the limits of the
area bounded by red lines shown on the plan marked
M.O.W. 2937 referred to in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Wellington Land District
Commencing at a point on Hokio Beach Road marked
0 miles 0 chains approximately 75 links from the southern-
most corner of Horowhenua XI A 7B 3 situated in Block I,
Waiopehu Survey District, and thence proceeding generally in
a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 2 miles
20 chains and passing in, into, through, or over the following
lands, namely, Horowhenua XI A 7B 3, part Horowhenua XI A,
7B, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 4140, being part Horowhenua XI A 7, part
Horowhenua XI B 39, Section 21 (Levin Domain), part
Section 20 and Roadway, being part Horowhenua XI B 36, all
situated in Block I, Waiopehu Survey District, parts Horo-
whenua A5F (being a consolidation of Horowhenua XI B 36,
Subdivisions 1E 3A 2, 1E 3B 1, 1E 3B 2, and 1E 3C and part
Horowhenua XI B 40), and Horowhenua 11B 36, Subdivisions
1E 2 and 1E 1B, all situated in Block I, Waiopehu Survey
District, and Block XIII. Mount Robinson Survey District,
and Horowhenua XI B 36, Subdivisions 1E 1A and 1E 4A, part
Horowhenua XI B 36, Subdivision 1E 5, and Horowhenua
XI B 36, Subdivision 1E 6A, all situated in Block XIII, Mount
Robinson Survey District, and terminating at a point on
Kawiu Road marked 2 miles 20 chains approximately 250
links from the northernmost corner of Horowhenua XI B 36,
Subdivision 1E 6A, including all adjoining and intervening
places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams,
and watercourses; as the same is delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 2937 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles
John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the
Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

North Auckland Land District-Auckland Conservancy
SECTION 2, Block III, Section 4, Block IV, Section 1, Block
VII, Section 1, Block VIII, Section 1, Block XII, Houhora
West Survey District; Section 63, Block V, Section 1, Block
IX, Section 3, Block X, Section 1, Block XIII, Section 3,
Block XIV, Section 46, Block XV, Houhora East Survey Dis-

trict; Section 1, Block II, and Section 1, Block III, Opoe
Survey District: Area, 29,497 acres and 35 perches, more or
less. As shown on plan No. 2/3 deposited in the Head Office
of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon
