Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 5·3 perches, more or less, being the land known as Lot 7, D.P. 20707, being part Lot 1 of Moutere 8B 2 in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 794, folio 51.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of May 1961.

Crown Land Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in the City of Wanganui

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of May 1961.

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 29·2 perches situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 258, D.P. 2286, being part Section 227, Right Bank Wanganui River. All certificate of title, Volume 206, folio 68, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of May 1961.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a teacher’s residence, and that the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of May 1961.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 rood 39 perches situated in Block XII, Kaitieke Survey District, Wellington R.D., being Section 13, Block III, Town of Raurimu.

SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 0·7 perches situated in Block XII, Kaitieke Survey District, Wellington R.D., being Section 14, Block III, Town of Raurimu.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2743 (S.O. 24440) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of May 1961.
